    Auditory Goals:

    1)      Client will detect and repeat Ling 6 sounds at a distance of 3 and 9 feet with 100% accuracy with little assistance.

    Procedure: The clinician will administer the Ling 6 test at a distance of 3 and 9 feet with 100% accuracy. The black acoustic screen will be used and the client will be cued to listen. The clinician will give the client blocks to hold to her ear and the clinician will say “listen.” Once the client shows that she heard the sound, she will repeat some of the sounds.

    2)      Client will identify beeping sounds in various parts of the room 3/3 times. (carry over from 11-05-08)

    Procedure: Clinician will place watches/timers around the therapy room and set them for different times throughout the session. When the timers go off, AB will look in the direction to find what is beeping.

    3)      Client will repeat the intonational and durational patterns of “Wake Up!” after the clinician 2/5 trials. Client will listen for “Wake Up!” and take blanket off of her head accordingly 2/5 trials.

    Procedure: Clinician and guardian will model first. The clinician will put a blanket over her head and as the grandma says “Waaaake Up!” using intonation and durational patterns. The clinician will pop her head out as grandma says “Waaake Up!” AB can have a turn putting the blanket on her head, as well as saying “Wake Up!” to someone else.

    Procedure: The clinician will present a “This animal says ____” book (envelope). AB can pick the animal out of the envelope and repeat the sound it makes.

    2)      Client will demonstrate understanding of “stop” and “go” concept 3/5 times post-model.

    Procedure: Clinician will present multiple musical instruments to shake and pound on. Guardian and clinician will model first. The guardian will play an instrument loudly and when the clinician says “STOP” and holds out her hand, the guardian stops playing the instruments. The clinician will then say “GO” and the guardian can make sounds again. AB will then take her turn saying “STOP” and “GO” and also listening for directions while playing the instruments.

    3)      Client will produce beginning sounds of 3/5 winter clothing items.

    Procedure: Clinician will read “It’s cold outside so I need my….” (paper bag book) and use arms and body to motion “brrrr.” AB can repeat the word (coat, mittens, hat, boots, sweater) and pick the matching picture from a choice of 3 pictures in front of her to put into the bag.

    Language Goals:

    1)      Client will imitate hand motions and follow intonation during Thanksgiving song.

    Procedure: Clinician and guardian will sing:

    Turkey in my tummy, turkey in my tummy (rub tummy)

    Materials: Turkey pointers

     

    2)      Client will produce the beginning sounds of 4/7 body parts.

    Procedure: Client and clinician will go through body parts book. As AB says what is on each page, she can reach in and put a feather on the turkey in front of her.

    4)      Client will imitate hand motions and imitate sound (Indian sound-patting mouth while saying ahhh) 3/5 trials.

    Procedure: Clinician, guardian and AB will sing “Five Little Indians” while holding popsicle sticks with Indians on top. When one falls down, clinician and guardian will model “ah-ah-ah-“ (Indian sound) while putting the Indian into the bucket and then continuing the song.

    “Five little Indians running all around,
    Five little Indians running all around,
    Five little Indians running all around,
    One falls down, now there’s only four.” (ah-ah-ah one Indian into the bucket)
